Cancellations and Refunds


Program Cancellations

We reserve the right to cancel or consolidate any programs that do not meet the minimum participation number required.  A full refund will be issued if we cancel any programs.  We notify all registered participants of any changes or cancellations to any of the programs via email.

Program Refunds

In the event that a participant cancels out of a program, refunds will be handled as stated below.  If you have an outstanding balance, the refund will be automatically applied to that balance and any remainder will be refunded.  Refund checks can take approximately three weeks to process.

  • Processing Fee - $10.00 is deducted off all refunds.  Remaining is refunded as stated.
  • Remaining Balance - Will be refunded up to one (1) week prior to start of program
  • No Refund - No Refund will be given if less than the one (1) week prior unless approved by Coordinator.  Commitments are made to instructors based on numbers one week prior.

 

Day of Program Cancellations

Program meeting days can be cancelled due to inclement weather, facility conditions, and/or other unknown circumstances.  Our policy is to make the call of a cancellation at the start time of the program at the location.  If we know far enough in advance, all participants will be notified by email. 

In the case where a program is held inside a school facility, all Recreation Department Programs are cancelled any time school is closed for weather related situations.  Rec. programs may still be on in the case of early dismissals or cancelling school only activities.

If we have to cancel a day, we will make every effort to offer a make-up if the facility and instructors are available.  If multiple days are cancelled we will not be able to make them all up.  All participants will be notified by email of makeup dates and times.  Please contact Recreation Department at 482-2281 ext. 230 for any questions.
